Breathe...

Well it's been a while. I am deeply sorry for all of you who have been holding your breath, you can release now...nice and slow....

I have like 10 posts stirring in my head but after a bout with computer failures I might need to get back in the grove slowly. Here goes...

Things are just "going to pot" around here and I don't even really know what that means but the computer's are slow and I still don't have a decent camera, another reason I've been slow to post. But that's life when what you were born to do doesn't exactly make you wealthy. That's ok a happy heart is worth a lot, especially these days.

We've been getting out more and every time I go to the jogger stroller to walk a bird has made a nest. I've moved it before, but they really like this portable home thing. Moral of the story- be careful where you invest your efforts/time/money- If it keeps getting "moved" and construction is halted maybe your building in the wrong area. I pray God directs them , since he loves them so much.

Well gosh there is so much to tell....without ramblin I will share this crazy story. The first of April I was driving to teach and my car started to rev with no power/ acceleration. Cody came rescued me from being late , fixed a line and we thought we'd dodged replacing the transmission, then 5 days later in the same spot in the road to Duncan my car did the same. This time he didn't answer his phone and I could still drive, I had just lost my higher gears. Left it in Duncan , guy tells us it's the transmission, so we won't have it anytime soon....and their goes the tax return, hopes of a new SLR camera,etc...

But I get to drive this for awhile and at least save some on gas.

This is a free car Cody got off facebook, someone posted the giveaway and he took it. It's what we almost took to Colorado but it died minutes before take off and at that exact moment I knew God loved me.

Well I was driving home Sunday afternoon from Marlow and guess what? the car lost power, wouldn't even turn over once I killed it. Called my rescuer and he loaded up the kids and came out. Couldn't fix it so we'd have to leave it and come back later. This happened half a mile from where my car had died. Geez shall we just bury them all?

While we waited for the calvary to arrive we took advantage of the time by feeding horses....

As we got in Cody's recently worked on truck and pushed that accelerator to come home it too wouldn't work. Let's just say Cody was a little upset at this point and I didn't know whether to laugh, cuss or pray.

I'll let you guess which ones I did.

So anyway we are without any vehicle, but not without provision...

And as we are finding out there is some benefit to that like having lots of room to ride your bikes
We haven't had to walk yet. Had my Nepali friend Bishwa not been here the 2 days before I might have gotten sad, upset or pouty about our dying cars but you know it's just an inconvenience.

So much more I want to say...

cody's gone for a week, my mother's coming, God really has been speaking about honor and prayer to me, I am doing a garden, I am trying to get organized for a summer of activity....but for now if ya'll see me walking (with a bird next in the top of the stroller) we'd love a ride...

Praying for you guys. That car y'all gave us was the biggest blessing at such a crucial time. The Lord's provision is always amazing.
