Packing for Camp (round 2)

If you live in Oklahoma and you are associated with the Southern Baptist Denomination than you have heard of Falls Creek.

It's one of the largest camps in the world. For 8 weeks in the summer they will pack 8,000 kids a week in the camp grounds.

Falls Creek is nearly as old as our state. Since the 1920's Baptist have been flocking to the camp around Davis, OK. Much good has happened there. The enemy knows the area well. He seeks to attack it regularly.

Ephesians 6:12This is not a wrestling match against a human opponent. We are wrestling with rulers, authorities, the powers who govern this world of darkness, and spiritual forces that control evil in the heavenly world.

So I find myself packing again.

Can you guess what I'm going to be doing?

This is the new bag Mr. Incredible got.

Less than one month and we are taking it and running away to Seattle. Do not try and stop us.

But I'm opting for old blue this camp week...

I have been asked many times how in the world I can pack so little.

So here's the secret.

Roll em!

Roll your clothes & pack em in there.

And it also helps to coordinate clothes and shoes with one color scheme.

For example- go black, black flats with a black skirt, jeans, various shirts that have black in them then you can wear the same shoes with them and save on shoe space.

I do this often with my girls- so I don't have so many accessories with each day's outfit.

Praying for a Week well spent investing in others.
